Once the parades conclude, the Clydesdale draft horses will pull the beer to the festival site, where all the action will take place. The best local breweries will be on hand serving the best craft ales the Portland area has to offer. Families can enjoy space to do arts and crafts, play games, and more. The competitive can participate in the Wiener Dog Race, or All Comers Race if you don’t have four legs. No German festival would be complete without polka music, dancing, and cultural dishes such as potato pancakes, sausages, and strudel.
